Fish Identification Quiz

Welcome to the Flagler Sportfishing Club website. We are an extremely active club with around 200 family's (over 400 members). Our meeting place has changed recently to the VFW in Palm Coast. We meet once a month and have a lot of events and tournaments throughout the year. Some of our tournaments pay cash awards of up to 4,000.00 dollars while others are smaller but just as much fun! Check out the 2014 schedule by clicking the link on the upper right.

Our club meetings focus on educating our members on local fishing techniques as well as staying informed on local laws and regulations. Most meetings are attended by a speaker who is a professional fishing guide in our local area. If you are considering joining our club, stop by on the first Wednesday of any month (except December). See more info under the membership link above.

Our success is a direct result of our member participation, as well as our great sponsors. We encourage each and every member to come to our meetings, and participate in our tournaments. And don't forget, when your shopping in the area to visit our sponsors and thank them for their support..

  • Snook to ReOpen in Atlantic State waters

The recreational harvest season for snook reopens on Feb. 1 in Florida’s Atlantic coastal and inland waters (from the Miami-Dade/Monroe county line north), including Lake Okeechobee and the Kissimmee River. The season will remain open through May 31.

In the Atlantic, anglers may keep one snook per day that is not less than 28 or more than 32 inches total length, which is measured from the most forward point of the head with the mouth closed to the farthest tip of the tail with the tail compressed or squeezed while the fish is lying on its side.
